JD Edwards Developer

Job Description
This position will be for a Developer providing support for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP in the areas of finance, distribution and warehousing. Position will encompass a set of dynamic responsibilities, including support of existing systems, custom software development and design and implementation of system interfaces. Selected individual will work closely with users and other IT professionals to provide corporate JD Edwards functional and technical solutions.

Major Duties

* Support JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Xe system applications on a AS400/Iseries platform
* Review and analyze user business processes and develop solutions in JD Edwards
* Develop and maintain interfaces between external systems and JD Edwards applications
* Assist with implementation of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne updates and maintenance
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation to support development activities. Carry out development tasks to the highest quality standards, including Coding & Documentation, Unit & System testing, and New releases.
* Analyze functional requirements, identify options for meeting technical solutions and recommend a course of action.
* Provide technical support for resolving day-to-day production problems and questions.
* Integrate third party software to EnterpriseOne as required.
* Act as a consultant and/or team lead for projects requiring technical expertise.

Requirements
* 5 years of recent technical experience in JD Edwards‘ distribution, warehousing, and financial applications.
* Experience with the design, configuration and implementation of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Xe
* JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development tools including Enterprise Report Writer, Forms Development, Object Management Workbench, Business Functions, Table conversion, Z-files and Interoperatbility. We are currently on One World Version 7333
* Comfortable with programming and modifying JDE C Business Functions.
* Complete familiarity with Event Rule Process Flow for all Form Types/UBE Sections.
* One World 7333 on AS400/Iseries experience
* Be capable of advising and contributing to development standards and documentation.
* EnterpriseOne product knowledge required
* Significant experience with the following processes * warehouse management and distribution
* Strong organizational and time-management skills to be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
* Outstanding problem solving skills
* Capable of working well with others
