The company operates petroleum refineries/pipelines and manufactures, markets and distributes refined fuels, lubricants, propane and renewable energy products.
Responsibilities: We are seeking a Senior Programmer/Analyst for JD Edwards OneWorld XE and 8.12 ERP software. Responsibilities will include front-end analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of ERP application development projects. You will work under general direction with the ability to act independently in determining methods and procedures on new or special assignments. Works on complex projects and problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors and additional specialized technical knowledge. Coordinates with users to determine requirements. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.
Responsible for creation of comprehensive test plans, including individual program and system test plans.
Analyzes business strategy and user needs, documents specifications, and translates business objectives into proper system requirement specifications.
Develops enhancements, takes ownership of QA and acceptance testing of completed projects.
Adheres to programming/development deadlines as determined by supervisor/manager.
Operates within development standards and a standard system development life cycle.
Assists with the development and preparation of project plans and schedules.
Responsible for activity, status and progress reports.
Requirements:
BS or BA degree in Management Information Systems, Business Management or equivalent work experience at a high level.
Minimum of 6 – 8 years of application development experience.
Minimum of 4 years developing ERP solutions utilizing JD Edwards Enterprise One software.
Experience with any of the following JD Edwards Enterprise One modules: G/L, A/R, A/P, Sales Order Management, Procurement, Advanced Pricing, Agreement Management, Forecasting, Advanced Stock Valuation, Inventory Management.
Experience with the JD Edwards Enterprise One Developer*s Toolset.
Experience writing and integrating custom bolt-on applications utilizing existing JD Edwards Enterprise One Z-file processing.
Experience with Case tools, MS SQL Server, Visual Basic, and MS Project desired.
Exposure to CNC activities desired but not required.
Innovis Trusted Link; EDI experience desired.
Ability to work in a team environment.
