Position Overview:

Systems Management, Inc. (SMI) is seeking ambitious and highly-motivated Business Development Manager (BDM), with strong Oracle’s ERP software solutions sales experience

in the Northern California area.

Responsibilities:

The SMI Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for positioning Oracle’s ERP software solutions and SMI’s implementation services to the Executive level (CFO, CIO, etc) contacts in their designated territories. Responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle including prospecting, lead generation, requirements gathering, coordinating software demonstrations, preparing implementation proposals and partnering closely with the Oracle sales team in Northern California.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess:

· 7-10 years of experience working in a business development/sales/IT capacity

· 5+ Years of Outside Sales Experience to CxO level

· Proven experience with Enterprise Application/Software (ERP, Supply Chain, Analytics, CRM, JD Edwards, etc.)

· Proven track record of superior performance in meeting/exceeding quota

· Excellent negotiation and closing skills

· Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

· Professional, ethical, competitive and committed

· Ability to create a first impression that exudes confidence, quality, and success

· Independent, self-motivated and persistent

· Strong organization skills and time management skills

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment

· Team Player

· Traveling – driving in Northern California territory using personal vehicle
Education:
· This position requires a BS and 7 to 10 years working in a business development/sales/IT capacity

Compensation & Benefits:

SMI offers a competitive compensation plan. Base pay (depends on experience), plus a No Cap Commission Plan, along with excellent benefits which includes health, dental, vision, life, AD&D, long term disability, 401(k) retirement plan, and cell phone reimbursement.
