JDE Functional Analyst

Description An excellent opportunity for a JDE Functional Analyst with strong technical knowledge of JD Edwards E1 Distribution modules to join a core team of talented professionals. Direct Hire only, not consulting.

Responsibilities include :supporting day-to-day issues that arise with system and end users. Reviewing, analyizing, and creating documentation of business systems and user needs, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to develop or enhance systems. Will translate functional specifications into technical development plans. Interfacing with software vendors in order to support and troubleshoot any issues end users may have with ERP system. Will provide basic development changes to systems. Will train end users on usage of business applications. Work in a change management SOX compliant environment.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Accounting is preferred. 7+ years of business systems and/or analysis experience required. In depth knowledge of Back End functionality and troubleshooting. Experience with JDE E1 integrated modules such as order processing, distribution, purchasing, inventory processing, MRP. Experience with Advanced warehousing, RF, Pick to Voice Technology a plus. Proficient with basic accounting concepts. Familiarity with JDE E1 Financial Module functionality. Good communication and customer service skills, ability to relate to users in business terms and relate technical solutions to business needs. Ability to work with many different personality types inside IT and in the user community; ability to flex communication style, approach and content based on the audience. Strong verbal and written English language skills are required. SQL Server - including stored procedures and SQL query. Comfort and skill in use of SQL required.
