Job Description: The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities include the design, testing, and expansion of the WINDSTREAM data network. Supported data services consist of broadband, dial-up, frame relay/ATM, Dedicated Internet, Metro Ethernet, L2 and L3 VPN, MPLS, VLS, VoIP, and FTTp.

  • Implements and budgets cost effective, scalable, reliable, and manageable network solutions
  • Manages network expansion/conversion/decommission data projects of moderate scope
  • Forecasts, orders, and implements new/replacement network equipment and facilities using defined capital management procedures
  • Manages capacity of various data network elements and interfaces to ensure availability and to prevent held orders
  • Identifies necessary network changes, validates proposed changes through testing, develops/submits a detailed work plan, and interfaces with the Data Network Operations group to successfully implement these changes on the production network
  • Other job related duties as needed/assigned

    Minimum experience in order to be successful in this position:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of one or more engineering disciplines and vendor equipment
  • Strong knowledge of accepted engineering practices
  • Good understanding of telecommunications industry
  • Strong computer software knowledge to include Microsoft Office, Custom Planning Tools and Databases
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to prioritize projects
  • Good oral and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ATM and frame relay services
  • Thorough understanding of TCP/IP and IP routing fundamentals
  • Demonstrated understanding of LAN/WAN fundamentals
  • Solid understanding of DSL design, deployment, support
  • Thorough understanding of Layer2/3 VPN’s, MPLS, Metro Ethernet and/or LAN switching experience
  • Thorough understanding of BGP, IGRP, RIP, OSPF routing protocols
  • Ability to stay current with economical and technological developments in the industry

    Minimum requirements:

  • College degree and 2-4 years experience or 6+ years equivalent related Engineering/Technical experience or a combination of education and related Engineering/Technical experience required.

    Desired Experience:

  • 3+ years in a Network Engineering environment or related technical job field
  • 3+ years experience troubleshooting IP routers, routing protocols, services, and transport layer problems.
  • 2+ years experience with MPLS VPN’s
  • 1+ years experience with Metro Ethernet and/or LAN switching experience
  • 3+ years experience with data networking equipment to include ATM switches, DSLAMs, Cisco/Juniper Routers, and Ethernet Switches
  • 1+ years experience with FTTx design/deployment using either PON or ASE
  • Experience using JobTrac, Ariba, and JD Edwards applications

    Certifications/Licenses:

  • Cisco CCNA desired, CCNP/CCDP preferred
  • Juniper JNCIA desired, JNCIP/JNCIS preferred

    Systems Analyst II JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Finan

    We are looking for a Systems Analyst II * JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Finance professional to analyze and provide sound solutions for complex business problems relating to systems and process. Our Systems Analysts work on a variety of projects and interact with Finance and Operations across multiple business units to drive efficiencies. The position is primarily responsible for implementing, training and supporting finance functionality within Oracle*s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Software, Epicor Retail Software and other software as selected. The position is based in our Niwot, CO office headquarters with the possibility of remote work from surrounding areas.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    * Consults with stakeholders to understand business problems and document requirements
    * Critically evaluates information gathered, reconciles conflicts and performs gap analysis
    * Influences requirements to effectively utilize systems to improve process while promoting standardization and reducing customization
    * Balances business requirements with technical feasibility and sets expectations accordingly
    * Provides business process mapping and translates requirements into functional design
    * Serves as the liaison between the customer community and internal development and vendors
    * Meets with internal development to assemble technical specifications
    * Configures systems and works with internal development and vendors on execution of design
    * Tests solutions to ensure fit with business requirements
    * Validates solutions with stakeholders and provides documentation and training
    * Transitions level one support for implemented solutions to offshore partner and serves as level two support
    * Collaborates with project manager to define project scope, resource time and cost estimates
    * Works within established change management and project management frameworks
    * Assists IT and business leadership in initiating and managing SOX compliance activities

    REQUIREMENTS

    * Bachelor*s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field of study and 5+ years of business/systems analyst or financial systems implementation experience
    * 3+ years experience implementing Oracle*s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne financial modules
    * Must understand DMAAI*s and the accounting integration points from Distribution and Procurement modules
    * Proven experience in implementing cross functional global systems initiatives
    * Significant knowledge in one or more business functional areas
    * Understanding of accounting controls and the ability to perform balancing and reconciliation to ensure that financial systems are performing as required
    * Costing and tax experience preferred
    * Epicor Retail Software experience a plus
    * Ability to work with relational databases and perform ad hoc queries using SQL
    * Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills (MS Office Project, Word, Excel, PP, Visio, etc.)

    JD Edwards World / EnterpriseOne Developers

    Innstra Inc. a global end-to-end IT consulting and Oracle Gold Partner is currently looking for senior JD Edwards Developers / Analyst Programmers for a World A7.3 to EnterpriseOne 9.0 upgrade project. This role involves migrating highly customized World environment (AS400/RPG programs / interfaces /legacy systems) and requires extensive programming experience in Financial, Distribution, Transportation/Logistics, Manufacturing, and Advance Warehouse Management modules.

    The candidates will closely interact with client business analysts and project manager during the entire lifecycle of the project. The candidates will be responsible for preparing technical specifications, creating test plans and developing/debugging and migrating software code.

    Skills Required:
    - JD Edwards World development / AS400 RPG programming skills
    - JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.0 Report/Application Development skills: – Must have experience in Business Services, BI Publisher, and C business functions.
    - SQL Server 2008 / Oracle 11G database, SQL query
    - DSI (Data Systems Integrated) scripting, CXML
    - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    - Strong meeting facilitation and communication skills.
    - Ability to identify team issues, analyze and propose solutions.

    This project will be executed from Innstra office in Aurora, IL and will involve frequent visits to the client location. To keep our costs as low as possible, preference will be given to local candidates however, if Innstra is unable to find the right candidate, Innstra may consider out of Chicago Land candidates.
