Job Purpose Statement:

The Controller ensures the CTW location financial results are reported timely, accurately and in compliance with all company policies, Sarbanes Oxley and US GAAP. They are a key business partner to the location staff to ensure controls are in place and drive profitable growth.

Summary of Responsibility:

Reporting to the VP of Finance, this position will oversee the financial functions within the location. The position is mainly responsible for driving profitable growth, forecasting, controls and closing the monthly books. This position also provides financial support to other departments along with Corporate and Group Staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Development and continuous improvement of a daily management system (dashboard) to proactively ensure that forecasted profitable is achieved.

· Product line profitability statements to support profitable growth.

· Responsible for accurately forecasting the profitability of the location for the next 12 months. This requires effective communication with all location staff and ownership of all line items on the P&L and B&S.

· Insightful analysis of results and forecasts presented to location, CTW & corporate staff.

· Proactively identifying problems and assist in the development of countermeasures to achieve forecasted results.

· Continuous improvement of accounting processes to eliminate waste & shorten close process

· Leadership and development of the accounting personnel

· Leading the locations commitment and 100% support of the Carlisle Operating System.

· Leading the locations commitment and 100% support of CTW policy deployment goals.

· Responsible for supporting the reporting of location and departmental daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s, driving accountability and countermeasures when goals are not being achieved

· Leading the development of lean accounting / actual costing at the location.

· Providing actual cost data to support pricing decisions and make verse buy analysis.

· Responsible for all capital (ACE) requests at the location. Sound justification and fully supported before submission for approval.

· Responsible to ensure current compliance of Sarbanes Oxley and Carlisle policies and procedures.

· Leading the development of the location annual business plan.

· Works with and coordinates audits from 3rd parties as well as internal audit.

· Maintain all aspects of fixed asset accounting

* Works directly with Sales and Distribution Operations and its business units to identify areas of opportunity to leverage technology to drive efficiencies that will reduce cycle time, increase inventory turns, exception based management, and key productivity improvements
* Drives standardized business processes among sales and distribution systems/functions to simplify business processes
* Utilizes business, functional, and technical knowledge to recommend the best solution and ensure the project complies with the needs of other related business initiatives
* Leads process mapping exercises and process skills to motivate, lead and develop team members assigned to this area
* Works closely with management to understand and prioritize business goals and information needs, then translate these needs to functional systems requirement documents and design specifications
* Develops project approach, scope, timeline, estimates, and staffing with the IT Project Manager
* Conducts gap analysis, coordinates gap closure through development of business process changes, conference room pilots, integration testing, system implementation and post production support
* Manages the overall IT project development and delivery including scope, timelines, project resources, risks and issues
* Works with business members to define customer and internal business requirements
* Works with IT do define technical requirements
* Coordinates project release and change management activities
* Provides management with project status updates and performance feedback

Skills:

* JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (v.8.10 or above)
* JD Edwards Object Management Workbench
* JD Edwards Report Design Aid
* Structured Query Language
* Strong written and oral communications skills
* Project management ( Planning , estimating and budgeting )

Experience:

* 5+ years experience as JDE Enterprise One (v.8.10 or above, preferred 8.12) Sales and Distribution Systems Analyst (Required).
* 3+ years configuration experience in JDE Enterprise One v8.12 (Required), Advanced Pricing experience a plus
* 2+ years experience in Order Management (Required), Supply Chain and/or Logistics services experience a plus
* 2+ years experience in Electronic Data interchange ( EDI )
* 3+ years experience developing and gathering business and technical requirements
* Experience with JDE RDA and object promotion using OMW
* SQL development experience a plus
* Working with a structured methodology or SDLC
* Experience developing or executing test plans
* Experience with Web service technology, including the ability to read XML a plus
* Experience with MS Office applications (MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, and MS Project) (Required)

Preferred Education & Training:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
