Claims Manager

The Manager Claims is a tactical business partner directly responsible for reviewing and directing resolution of claims in accordance with Company practices and procedures.  Directs the investigation, evaluation and settlement of claims against the Company in order to effect fair and prompt disposal of cases and contribute to a reduced loss ratio.  Ensures claim documents required by Company and legal practices are accurate and files are maintained and secure.  Participates in analyzing corporation performance and in the development of improvement recommendations.  The Manager attends and contributes to the Planning Group.

Ply Gem Siding Group, a member of the Ply Gem family, is currently searching for a 2nd shift Manufacturing Supervisor for our Mold department for our Gaffney, SC facility. This position will supervise, direct, advise and train manufacturing Mold team members in accordance with established manufacturing policies and procedures to ensure production demands are met. Position will focus on quality, safety and environmental responsibility.

Service Parts — Inventory Planning & Logistics Le

Job Scope & Key Duties: This is a lead position for $20 million, robotic service parts operation, including the management of inventory planning, procurement, and robotics logistics processes. The successful candidate will have high personal growth potential in a very entrepreneurial and team-oriented environment. Job Scope & Key Duties: * Manage the fulfillment of customer service parts orders from inventory or through procurement. Manage the Robotics logistics functions including customs compliance and freight invoicing activities. The following functions are performed as part of the group’s normal operation: a. Maintain proper inventory levels for all product lines b. Place replenishment/ on demand purchase orders with established suppliers. c. Monitor all purchase orders to ensure the quickest delivery possible. d. Obtain quotes from suppliers and purchase inventory items at lowest price possible. e. Monitor all customer orders and ensure that they are shipped on time. f. Insure the timely receipt of purchased materials g. Manage planning/ inventory processes per SOX compliance requirements h. Track inbound shipments and ensure proper customs compliance i. Complete all freight invoicing and coding for proper approvals j. Manage daily work schedule of six buyer/planners and two logistics personnel * Manage the disposition of excess inventory * Seek alternative sources for locally sourced materials / repairs to optimize quality and cost * Develop stocking plan for all new product releases * Coordinate return of all rejected materials * Manage reverse logistics processes of returned material (cores) and ensure proper warranty recover for local unit. * Establish and maintain relationships with 3PL supplier (in Groveport, OH) and offsite warehouse, and make continuous process improvements * Coordinate cycle count program with 3PL supplier * Maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with management and peers in order to meet overall CS and Robotics business objectives * Lead US Implementation of Global Inventory Management (GIM) project working with PRU After-sales project team * Lead implementation of Business Online, a customer web portal for order entry and information. * Provide continuous coaching and training to workforce to continuously improve performance. Provide input into employee performance reviews. Key Measurements for this Position (Over the next 12 months): * On-time delivery to customers. * On-time delivery from suppliers. * Inventory turns * Cycle count compliance & pass SOX compliance audits * Successful implementation of GIM * Successful implementation of Business Online
