Position Summary

This position will entail responsibility for providing direct supervision to production employees in department(s) including work scheduling and assignment, employee training, ensuring production quality and quantity requirements are met, evaluating staffing needs, administering safety, communication, teambuilding, etc. programs.
 
Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise 10-50 employees involved in production. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance to the Company policies, the Code of Ethical Business Conduct and applicable laws
  • Clearly and regularly communicates pertinent performance, work schedule, and activities to the production hourly associates.
  • Reports all accidents, injuries, and near misses to production manager, assures all documentation is completed and tracks countermeasures.
  • Assures proper PPE is used per plant requirements.
  • Proactively audits department for at risk conditions or behaviors.
  • Assures associates’ compliance to Standard Work and Job Instructions.
  • Assures products passed on to next department meet quality specifications.
  • Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.
  • Directs workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products, which fail to meet standards.
  • Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve safety, production methods, equipment performance, quality of product, and standards of work.
  • Maintains time and production records.
  • Conveys and enforces company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
  • Maintains, approves, and ensures accuracy of associate payroll hours.
  • Initiates and/or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
  • Other duties may be assigned

Senior Property Manager

Inland Western Retail Real Estate Trust has a Sr. Property Management opening in Bloomfield, CT.  Inland Western currently has 310 properties with over 46 million square feet owned and is located across 38 states.  The Senior Property Manager’s role will provide leadership to property managers, sub-managers and administrative assistants.



Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining tenant accounts (i.e. complete adjustments, permanent tenant set ups, change of address, etc.)
  • Supervise the maintenance of properties in the portfolio, including but not limited to repairs, capital improvements, contracted services, etc.
  • Review the quarterly inspections of each property manager.
  • Supervise and oversee the collection process which may include some or all of the following; visiting the tenant in person, telephone calls, late letters, and default notices, etc.
  • Review the collection notes.
  • Attend various collection, budget, and status meetings.
  • Work with leasing agents and company heads to ensure that agents are being informed of any upcoming vacant units.
  • Oversee the set up process of new tenants.
  • Ensure that all necessary bids are obtained from vendors including contractual services.
  • Supervise the preparation of vendor contracts for approval by V.P. or company head.
  • Authorize and/or approve service requests.
  • Supervise the creation and maintenance of the budgets for each center.
  • Oversee the preparation of vacant units, renewal process and set up for new tenants.
  • Ensure all emergency repairs are completed in a timely fashion and that all necessary reports are filled out accordingly.

Job Overview

Provides expertise in the definition, adoption and adherence to enterprise business intelligence and information architecture strategies, processes and standards. Delivers enterprise information architecture and technical / infrastructure architecture for the enterprise data warehouse and end user reporting tools. Provides technology direction, assistance and training to teams performing BI-related activities, both inside and outside IT Services. Supports the development of the global BI strategic roadmap by conducting market analysis and technology reviews, and establishing strong partnerships with key vendors to enable roadmap implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the overall BI architecture on a global scale, ensuring that the architecture is appropriate across the business domain(s), evolves to meet changing business and technology advancements, and adheres to the enterprise IT architecture standards
  • Capture business and architectural requirements and create / communicate integrated business and BI technology roadmaps.
  • Clarify IT project functional and conceptual design specifications in close collaboration with IT and business owners. Lead BI and Solutions Management analysts in data modeling to convert business specifications into effective IT solutions.
  • Create architectural models, standards and best practice papers to be used consistently across BI projects. Ensure the development and maintenance of BI application, component, data, and interface architecture for each application and project within the domain.
  • Drive continuous improvements to keep BI architecture aligned with current and future business needs. Conduct workshops to ensure BI architecture stays in line with business expectations for ease of use, performance and recovery requirements.
  • Continually align BI aspects of information technology projects with the priorities of the business and organization at large
  • Develop BI capabilities in, and substantially influence activities and priorities of Operations BI staff to advance and achieve key corporate BI objectives (e.g., standard tools, trustworthy information, etc.) through indirect / dotted line reporting relationships.
  • Succeed operationally through on-time project delivery, value delivered to the business, budgetary performance
  • Understand end-user requirements and support the technical implementation and adoption of BI tools which promote and enable self-service.
