We are seeking qualified applicants for a Product Engineer for our Research & Development department located in Fort Wayne, IN.

• Prepare and support sealing system recommendations based on the complete company product portfolio (internal and external manufacturing resources) as a result of a Customer Request.
• Design of Rubber and Plastic components as intended for use as seal and bearing products.
• Be accountable to provide not only a detailed manufacturing drawing complete with dimensions and tolerances, but also ensure that the product functions in the application.
• Analyze and identify cause and corrective actions for sealing systems failures.
• Interface with the sales and applications engineers.
• Interface with Product/Segment Management in support of their product goals.
• Interface with the materials development personnel in North America and Europe.
• Participate in key customer visits with sales engineers and account managers.
• Interface with suppliers/purchasing for materials, components, and manufactured product.
• Interface with suppliers on tool design and tool manufacture sources, capability and cost.
• Be responsible for managing the product testing program.
• Manage the APQP process for product development through PSO signoff. 
• Support Quality System accreditation.
• Other duties as assigned to support the Company’s business goals.
