Quality Supervisor

SUMMARY

Rexam Hot Springs is looking for a Quality Supervisor to lead a 24/7 high volume compression moldinng operation producing bottle caps.  This position reports directly to the Quality Manager – Compression.   The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for providing leadership to a large quality staff of 12 and provide guidance to manufacturing, technical support teams and for other quality process improvement projects as assigned.  Lead and participate in the development and evaluation of the quality system, quality education and training, audits, problem investigation and quality measurements. Responsible for defect recognition, inventory adjustment & reselect.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans and directs activities concerned with product and process development (APQP & PPAP).
  • Develops and initiates standards and statistical methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as chemical, electrical or mechanical.
  • Devises sampling plans and procedures.  Including developing forms and visual work instructions. evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
  • Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement and analytical equipment and facilities.
  • Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
  • Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, products, or process quality and reliability.
  • Compiles and writes training material. Conducts training sessions on quality control activities.
  • Participates and supports internal and external quality audits.
  • Communicates with internal and external customers and vendors, production supervisors, inside sales and Plant and Quality Management.
  • Provides instruction and support for the development of manufacturing process controls with application to compression mold, closure lining, assembly and decorating processes.

We are currently seeking the following Senior Business Systems Analyst in our Baton Rouge, LA office.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Business Systems Analyst provides support, focusing on the Payroll/Time Entry ERP team’s projects and initiatives. This position helps to plan, establish, and implement the policies and procedures to support the organization’s business applications and technical infrastructure. This position requires knowledge of specific application software, communication with internal users of applications, and participation in the development and planning of processes to address and solve user’s business and system needs. This position will require an understanding of how the application software has been set-up and integrated to support business needs, infrastructure, reporting and training of end users. Good communication skills are a must as the candidate will be required to work closely with individuals of widely varying responsibility and experience. This position requires a complete understanding of data use, processes, output and the ability to conduct functional testing of applications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

�Bachelor’s degree in a related area

�7-10 years of experience is required.

�Candidate must be familiar with a wide area of technical and business concepts.

�Candidate must be proficient with MS Office suite of products, SQL, and report writing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

�JD Edwards experience is highly desirable.

�Knowledge of the payroll industry, project leadership and management skills are highly desired.

Project Accountant

 Description


This position reports to the Project Director, with a dotted line of responsibility to the Project Controls Director and the Division CFO in Virginia, for the financial affairs of a project located near Provo, Utah. 
Essential Functions
Financial/Accounting Responsibilities
‘ Maintains and updates the job budget and forecasting spreadsheets
‘ Maintains and monitors all cost accounts
‘ Prepare and approve job journal entries
‘ Approves JV and vendor invoices
‘ Monitors job cash flow
‘ Prepares and analyzes reports that summarize and forecast all facets of project activity and financial position. This may include: summary reports on project progress, job overhead reports, trial balance, balance sheet, financial statement, income statement, and profit distributions
‘ Participates in various government compliance reviews and assists in DCAA audits, if required
‘ Monitors compliance with joint venture agreement and government FAR contractual requirements
‘ Analyzes and communicates to management variances between projected results and actual results on a monthly basis
‘ Assists operations team at large in ad hoc reporting and review of estimates whenever required
‘ Ensures compliance with internal and governmental accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
