 Description

Duties;

Working under general direction, the Application programmer will be responsible for designing,

developing and testing software systems developed in various Microsoft and other architectures. This

includes modifying these software programs throughout the production lifecycle and writing documentation

for use of the software. The Application Programmer will also analyze and amend software errors in a

timely and accurate fashion and provide status reports where required.

Qualifications;

. Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications

according to specifications.

. Manage versions of software in source control program allowing quick retrieval of

current and past versions for enhancement and debugging.

. Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for

the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general

debugging.

. Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines.

. Work with end users to enhance and troubleshoot software programs.

EXP

 College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or software

engineering, and 5 years equivalent work experience required.

. Working technical knowledge including C#, JavaScript, HTML, AJAX, and

ASP.net, web services and CSS required.

. Experience working with enterprise applications, including SAP Business One ,

SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards or other mid-tier ERP applications required.

. Hands on experience working in integrated development environments, including

Microsoft Visual Studio 10 and Visual Safe Source required.

. Extensive experience with Windows operating systems including Windows

Server 2008 R2 required.

. Extensive experience with SQL databases required.

. Experience working with SAP DI API preferred.

. Familiarity with the Medical Device industry preferred.

. Hands-on software troubleshooting experience.

. Experience with specific phases of the software development life cycle,

especially Design, Development, Integration/Test and Implementation.

. Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

. Data Warehouse experience a plus.

. Business Objects/Crystal reports experience a plus.
